FEMA’s Incident Safety Officer Course Revision Contract
FEMA’s Incident Safety Officer Course Revision Contract
FEMA has awarded E-PAGA a contract to revise the Incident Safety Officer course for the United States Fire Administration and offered at the National Fire Academy (NFA). This course provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the incident safety officer during incident operations and training evolutions and focuses on the safety of all personnel through a proactive and continual risk analysis that identifies and mitigates hazards to personnel at any incident scene, planned event, or training exercise where there is an operational deployment.
Under this contract, E-PAGA will perform a comprehensive course content and design review, develop a new plan of instruction, revise course materials, and pilot the revised course.
E-PAGA has a long history of supporting FEMA’s NFA, having completed more than 40 NFA contracts.
